The First=20 Multiplier Event was held in Brno on=20 March 31st, 2023. This event was an opportunit= y to present the results of the Erasmus+60 project, the Czech system of edu= cation for Third-Age and also practical workshops with feedback from partic= ipants.

Apri= l, 18th, 2023: Online Hackathon

On=20 April 18th, 2023 the=20 Hackathon on " Third-Age educational offers integrating intergeneration= al learning perspectives" was held under the leadership of the Uni= versity of Latvia. 

This event attracted interested people from different countr= ies of the world - Latvia, Hungary, Austria, France, Czech Republic, India.= In total, it was attended by many participants among stakeholders such as = HEIs as well as local, regional, national, and international educational au= thorities and other organizations reflecting the partner countries.

During this event, all participants were divided into three = rooms based on the main topics of the Hackathon:

  • Wel= l-being factors studying for seniors (knowledge and future skills to be dev= eloped);

  • Lif= elong learning resources opportunities and effective resources (tools);=20
  • Mot= ivation: How can we engage seniors in lifelong learning?
The result of this event was the writing of a recommendatio= n to the European Commission. The report will be available on the project w= ebsite.

The University of Split (Croatia) welcomes us for the week of= =20 September 4th to 8th, 2023 for the organization= of the=20 Learning, Teaching and Training activity on " Promoting active aging and well-being".

As part of the project, we are organizing a learning event t= hat will test the academic content designed, intercultural perspectives and= linguistic issues, in order to identify and reflect in a more representati= ve way the needs of the end-users, i.e. senior citizens. On the program: co= urses and workshops (or practical activities) on promoting active ageing an= d Croatian culture.
