First Multiplier Event in Brno, Czech Republic (31.03.2023)
On March 31st, the Erasmus+60 consortium organized the First Multiplier Event titled “How to Provide Educational Offers for Senior Citizens on the University Campus” in Brno, Czech Republic. This event was hosted by Mendel University in Brno (MENDELU), a partner in the project. The focus was on the education of seniors and intergenerational education.
The event included:
- Workshops demonstrating practical approaches to senior education and intergenerational education.
- A presentation of the toolkit for Third-Age educational practices developed during the +60 project (PR2).
- An overview of the Czech system of Universities of Third Age.
- A session for sharing experiences.
This event was free and organised within the scope of the Erasmus+60 project.

9:00 – 9:15 Welcoming words by the Rector or Vice-Rector for Education of Mendel University in Brno (MENDELU)
9:15 - 9:30 Erasmus+60 project presentation by Jan BORM, Vice-President in charge of International Relations of the University of Versailles St-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ - project coordinator)
9:30 – 11:15 Workshops - practical demonstrations of seniors education or intergenerational education
11:15 - 11:45 Lunch
11:45 - 12:15 Presentation of the toolkit for Third-Age educational practices (ELTE - PR2 leader)
12:15 - 12:45 Presentation of the Czech system of Universities of Third Age (Association of Universities of Third Age)
12:45 - 13:00 Sharing experiences - why I want to learn in my senior years? (Participant of the University of the Third Age)
